New Beta Test Opportunity for Gamers

I thought I’d pass along this Beta Test Opportunity for any of you who may want to try it.   I’ve done work with Centercode before and it can sometimes be hard to get in, but keep trying and you will eventually get selected.

These days you can connect to the internet virtually anytime, anywhere. You can surf the web from your phone, or even while sitting in front of the television! Connecting to the web while sitting on your couch can be lots of fun, but entering text with your Xbox or PS3 controller can be awkward and time-consuming.

Likewise, entering text with your TV remote can be a chore. Trying to program your universal remote to link with your equipment, or even typing and searching for a specific show on your DVR, by slowly scrolling to the number or letter onscreen can seem to take forever.

We are testing a new product that ends the “hunt and peck” of the XBOX 360 and PS3 platforms and universal remotes. Providing many of the benefits of a remote and a keyboard, this device aims to give you the one tool that you long for from your PCs. This integrates all of the necessary functions you need to control your home theater into a single, advance device.

Serious gamers who own either an XBOX 360 or PS3 or both are great candidates. Also, if you have a PC hooked up to your TV as well, then you are ideal. If you want to experience the latest innovation in remote control technology, click the link below to learn more about this new beta test.

New Beta Test for Headset

Looks like there is another Centercode Invite out.  This one is for a headset.  Here is the email I received – just passing along the information for those of you who may be interested to try and qualify:

We often have multiple audio sources such as a desk phone or PC to listen to through our working day. Wouldn’t it be great if we had a device that allowed us to use a single USB headset with both desk phones and PCs?  With a device merging together USB connectivity and call control functions, you no longer require different headsets for use with your desk phone or PC. Our client aims to provide this with a new USB audio switching device.

We need users that work in an office with a desktop phone and use one of the many popular soft phone products. You must use Windows XP, Vista or Win 7 to participate. We will supply you with the device and a USB headset.

If your livelihood depends on the telephone and you have time to do some testing over the next few weeks, please click the link below to learn more about this very exciting project.

Mouse Beta Test

Do you like computer gaming or know someone who does?  Centercode is looking for beta testers for a new Gaming Mouse.  Here is the information:

“There is nothing like a great computer game to help you relax. They really transport you from your desk to another world. In contrast, nothing can wind you up more than when you are getting your rear-end kicked by someone online! Our client has devised a new mouse that will help you get your skills, speed and agility to a level where you can compete with the best.
This new gaming mouse incorporates the best new features in an affordable package! We are seeking experienced gamers who have either purchased a gaming mouse before or those who have been dreaming of owning one some day. Of course, our biggest need are people who spend hours online hunting monsters, fragging friends and seeking adventure.
Being engaged in a Centercode beta test is a great opportunity to be the first to explore new tech. However, it does take time and effort. Only apply for this project if you are a serious game player; have the time; have the guts to win; and the desire to really put this new technology through its paces!

Beta Test a New Remote Control

Here is a new Beta Testing Invite that came into my email this morning.  You will need to register to be a member of OnlineBeta (Centercode) to sign up (it is free to sign up).  I’ve done testing for them before and they are a good company.

There are times when simplicity is needed. In the world of technology there seems to be thought that the more complicated a product is the better. Home entertainment has become the worst offender with the stacks of devices needed to be connected and operated to simply enjoy a good movie or watch a TV program.

Take control of your TV with a new product we are beta testing. Our client has designed a remote control that intends to simplify all this complexity. With a simple interface and just right number of features, this new remote will make your life easier and while still providing the performance you need.

Being involved in a beta test with Centercode is a chance to be the first to explore new innovations and learn about new products. However, we need people who can commit the time to test and know how to keep quiet about these newly released products. If you feel you match this description, click the link below to learn more about this beta test.

Beta Test Opportunity for New Router

“Power. It’s what all true geeks seek. Whether slaying a monster in a video game or boosting the CPU speed in a PC, geeks thrive on power. Get a group of them together and immediately the bragging rights get tossed around the room.  The boasting might include video cards, monitor size, game accomplishments or number of cool toys. But the ultimate bragging right is the Internet speed.

Our client has devised a router designed to trump all other routers. Featuring Gigabit Ethernet, a USB port for wireless printing and music sharing, torrent support and movie streaming along with other high speed pursuits, this router is designed for the power user. It’s for the geek who wants to push the network to the limit and be top dog.

If you like things fast and have time to commit to a beta test, we’re now taking applications to test this new router. You must be willing to keep a secret and push the product to the limits with your Gigs of media content. You’ll need to be a US resident to qualify for this opportunity”

New Centercode Beta Test Invite

I received the following email from Centercode today:  This is a generic link, but you will need to create an account if you don’t already have one:

“We just have too many phones. Our cell phones, our desk phones, our PC and all those different soft phones. In order to stay effective, we either have to play tricks with call forwarding or be exceptionally quick with switching between devices. Our client aims to simplify this process with a new headset that will bring your phones together.

Merging together the highest quality audio and wireless tech, our client has designed the perfect headset for the serious phone user. It not only embraces comfort but it’s focused on connecting each of your phone technologies to ensure that you no longer have to muddle through multiple pieces of hardware to answer that next important call.

We need users with Bluetooth enabled smart phones; work in an office with a desktop phone and use one of the many popular soft phone products. You must use Windows XP, Vista or Win 7 to participate. If your livelihood depends on the telephone and you have time to do some testing over the next few weeks, please click the link below to learn more about this very exciting project.

Beta Test a Wireless Router

Here is the information they sent to me.  You will need an account with them, which they give you the opportunity to create when you log in to the link at the end.

Sometimes those things that seem unimportant can make a huge world of difference. Take your Internet router. It sits all day connecting you to the Internet and as long as it runs well, you are happy. However, what if it could do more and do it better? We are pleased to announce a new opportunity to test a fully featured router from a major computer peripheral and networking manufacturer.

To qualify, you’ll need to live in the US and have a broadband Internet connection. The test is open to Mac and PC users as long as you have Mac OS X 10.4 or newer (Mac), or Windows XP or newer (PC) operating system installed.

Please remember that in order for you to be chosen to participate on this test, we need to be able to get a hold of you. Please update your contact settings in our system. Time is of the essence when launching a test and we want to be able to include you!

Being a beta test volunteer means spending time daily engaged in testing and providing feedback in the Centercode system. If you are unwilling to commit to participate in the beta test, do not apply for this opportunity.
